Students turn to egg donation to pay tution fees

In the US, college females choose to donate their eggs to fund school fees
In the US, payment for donated eggs can be high, ranging anywhere from $2,000 to $10,000.

Around the world, egg donations comprised 12% of assisted reproductive technology procedures in 2010.

Advancing technologies in IVF treatment have made egg donation a standard treatment choice for some couples. Many women especially after a certain age find that the only realistic alternative to conceive is IVF using donated eggs. Altruistic egg donation is not as popular an option for many to be egg donors. With tuition fees and interest rates on student loans being as high as they are, some college women are turning to egg donation to help pay for school and loans.
