Tina Malone: 50... and up the duff!

We managed to catch up with the lovely people at the UK CFA Clinic in Cyprus
Our sunshine break to visit the embryos This week we managed to catch up with the lovely people at the UK CFA Clinic in Cyprus. Doctor Halil Ibrahim Tekin and the clinic co-ordinator Zeren Akburak and the rest of the team who helped get me pregnant were able to give me and Paul a tour of the IVF clinic where we've still got eight more embryos – you never know... we might decide to do it again in the future!

We were enjoying a fabulous sunshine break in Famagusta just five minutes from the clinic so I was happy not to have to travel too much. I'm in the final trimester of pregnancy, so I've got to be careful. The weather was wonderful, so hot, and after all the miserable rain we've had here it really perked me up.

Man Flu
And after all the dashing around we've done recently – not least moving house! – it was a very welcome break. But annoyingly when I arrived on Tuesday I came down with quite a bad cold – or if I was a bloke I guess you'd call it flu.

I'm run down. And I suppose it's no surprise after the move and the fact I'm still working quite a lot. Everyone keeps asking what exactly I'm doing workwise, but what aren't I doing?

Most importantly, I've got my Sunday Mirror column. But I've also just finished editing my book along with the publishers Little, Brown.
And then I host my quiz at Ma Egerton's on a Monday night, and I teach d r ama o n Sundays and I'm filming my documentary with Talent TV and TLC ... and breathe! So yes, I am still very busy.

It's good for body and mind not to get lazy, or to start nesting too far in advance.

In nine weeks I'll have a baby to run after, so in my game you've got to take the work when it comes.

I've been extremely lucky with the offers I've had since leaving Shameless, and hey, we all have bills to pay.

But with all that going on, I have to admit we're nowhere near ready for the arrival of our little girl. . We've still got to sort the pram, the cot, the nappies... all those essentials. Yikes!

But there are worse things I suppose – I'm quite looking forward to a shopping spree!
